Saturday 25th July – Gill Smith
Tomorrow some of us will actually get together in our church building to share together in worship.
Maybe we had begun to think it would never happen, but we can finally see one another as we worship God, a few months ago we would never have thought that it would be so exciting and important, in fact we simply took it for granted.
Many of our brothers and sisters know only too well how much they treasure this opportunity, now we can understand how they feel, we have learned a lot during this lockdown time.
My prayer for us all at this time is a few verses from Hebrews 10
Without wavering let us hold tightly to the hope we have, for God can be trusted to keep His promise
Think of ways to encourage one another to outbursts of love and good deeds
And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage and warn each other, especially now that the day of His coming back again is drawing near.
I pray that God will bless each of us, as we meet, or watch on YouTube, or watch the beautiful service on the BBC, or however we are able to enter His presence and offer our worship
