We are a community of around 150 people covering the whole age range from nought to ninety plus.

We’re ordinary people from all walks of life, united in a belief that God’s love is an essential part of life, and that he wants us to share that love with those around us.

Our base is the chapel opposite Sainsbury’s car park in the heart of the town.  Our Minister is Rev Matthew Farrow. Matthew has an office in the school rooms behind the chapel which he uses most weekdays, and he leads most of our Sunday services.

We come together for worship every Sunday morning at 10.30am and 6.30pm.  We always make separate provision for children and teenagers during the morning service, including a crèche for the very young.

If you live in the area, are just moving in, or are passing through - you will have a warm welcome. You don’t need any special qualifications to come to Dronfield Baptist Church!

Hospitality Month

In Hospitality Month we are   asking you to offer some form of hospitality to other people from within the    fellowship. Over the next few weeks think of what hospitality you could offer eg a cup of coffee, a walk in the Peak District, Sunday lunch, a games night, a DVD night, the ideas are endless. Sign up either online or using a form available in the Foyer
In September you will be asked to fill in a form with the details of your  offer with information such as where its to be held, date, time etc
We will then collect all  the offers of hospitality and make a list from which you can choose which events to     attend. The catch is that you won’t know who is coming to your event until a few days before, or who you are going with to an event ( although you can go with a friend!). This mixes us all up in different groups , giving you the opportunity to meet and get to know different people and hopefully make new friends
